Cork mosaic material is suitable for use on walls and floors in both interior and exterior installations. Not only is our material actually wood, it offers great design flexibility and options. Once you walk on our mosaic, you'll never want to go back to a traditional tile or stone product. Since you can stain the cork like a wood, and with a variety of grout color options, the color design options are nearly endless.

The cork mosaic tile is available in 3 lines:

Premium: made from post-industrial, recycled wine cork stoppers, therefore carrying the same "aesthetic" that you find in wine corks (small voids that when installed are filled with grout).
  • Available prefinished and unfinished (can be stained any color imaginable)
  • Offers tremendous slip-resistance and natural warmth (thanks to the thermal insulative properties of cork)
  • Inherently has micro voids (which are filled with grout during installation)
  • Suitable for floor, wall, and ceiling installations (including exterior; refer to installation instructions)
  • Disc Size: 1" diameter 
  • Sheet Size: approx. 1' x 2' 
  • Assume one 9 pound bucket of StarQuartz Grout per 9 sheets of tile
Mega: is aesthetically similar to the Premium, but is just larger in size (almost twice the surface area). It takes the 'penny round' look to the next level.
  • Available prefinished and unfinished (can be stained any color imaginable)
  • Offers tremendous slip-resistance and natural warmth (thanks to the thermal insulative properties of cork)
  • Like the Premium, inherently has micro voids (which are then filled with grout during installation process)
  • Suitable for floor, wall, and ceiling installations (including exterior; refer to installation instructions)
  • Disc Size: 1-3/8" diameter
  • Sheet Size: approx. 2' x 2'
  • Assume one 9 pound bucket of StarQuartz Grout per 4 sheets of tile
High Density: made from post-industrial byproduct material, but instead of being made of unaltered cork bark, it is made via shredding, densification, and then compression. Unlike the Premium, there are no voids in the cork material within the disc, which tends to give it a slightly more consistent look and mosaic feel.
  • Available prefinished and unfinished (can be stained any color imaginable)
  • is made by the compression of conglomerated cork material and lacks the voids as found in the Premium (when stained, the High-Density provides an overall greater contrast when juxtaposed against the grout, since the grout and High-Density material are visually independent from one another)
  • Offers tremendous slip-resistance and natural warmth (thanks to the thermal insulative properties of cork)
  • Suitable for floor, wall, and ceiling installations (including exterior; refer to installation instructions)
  • Sheet Size: approx. 1' x 2'
  • Disc Size: 1" diameter
  • Assume one 9 pound bucket of StarQuartz Grout per 9 sheets of tile
