IceStone durable surfaces are made from 100% recycled glass and cement, and VOC-free ingredients, born in Brooklyn, New York, to create a high performance concrete material. In addition to counter and vanity tops, IceStone can also be used for backsplashes, table tops, bar tops, interior walls, shower walls and bathtub surrounds, sinks, window shelves, and commercial flooring applications.

The first surface in the world to receive McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC)"s coveted Cradle to Cradle Gold certification, which assesses products on a number of use of safe and healthy materials, design for material reuse and recycling, efficient use of energy and water throughout production, and instituting strategies for social responsibility.
Production processes include: factory is daylit; grey water recycling; cool, low-emission manufacturing process; soy-based machine lubricants have replaced petroleum-based ones.
The fabrication, installation, and maintenance of IceStone surfaces follow similar standards used with natural stone. We have a long-standing relationship with a fantastic stone fabricator to cut and install our IceStone for you.
Order process: Our general Icestone process works like this: Submit your drawings/schematics to us by email, fax or bring them in to us. We will prepare a quote that includes materials, templating, fabrication, and installation. If it is acceptable and you place an order, a templating session is scheduled with our fabrication contractor usually within a few days. Installation is usually scheduled a few days after the template.
Pricing Guidelines: Pricing varies primarily on the pattern and your project layout. You can figure pricing to be from about $85-150/sf including materials, templating, fabrication, and installation.
Maintenance: As a concrete material, Icestone does need to maintain a seal to avoid staining. Please inquire for full manufacturer's maintenance instructions.
