Saicos Ecoline Hardwax-Oil creates a beautiful, natural and durable surface. It is part of a coating system especially produced for wood, cork and bamboo floors and heavily used furniture surfaces.
An open-pored penetrating surface finish based on natural plant raw materials (oils and waxes). It combines the advantages of an oiled wooden surface (natural beauty of the wood gets emphasized) with an exceptional high abrasion resistance and durability.
It's microporosity allows the floor to breathe, to help keep moisture from getting trapped; useful in wet spaces such as kitchens.
It is very easy to clean and maintain. Normal daily cleaning with mop, duster or vacuum cleaner. Can be mopped damply with Ecoline Wash Care. Persistent dirt and stains (e. g. from rubber soles) can be removed with Ecoline Wax Care. Can be spot repaired and refinished without resanding the old finish off -- Clean surface with Ecoline Magic Cleanser first. No sanding required. We recommend a slight sanding of the surface (grain 150) and a subsequent new coat of Ecoline Hardwax-Oil on the cleaned surface. Surfaces previously finished with Ecoline Hardwax-Oil must be renovated with Ecoline Hardwax-Oil. In case of renovation in bathroom we recommend the usage of Saicos Premium Hardwax-Oil.
The Ecoline system is healthy-living and breathable. It is in line with the VOC guideline 2010, slip resistant R9. Saliva and sweat resistant acc. DIN 53160 T.1+2.
Complies with the migration behavior according to DIN EN 71T.3.

Apply thinly with SAICOS Spring Spatula or scraper. Application quantity approx. 15g/sqm, depending on wood species. Buff the coated surface until cloudless appearance with one- or multi-disc rotary machine (white pad) after max. 30 min.
Drying time: approx. 3–5 hours (depending on temperature and air humidity).
After drying, sand with one- or multi-disc rotary machine (green pad) is recommended.
Oxidative drying – provide open windows during and after processing to reach a good air circulation.
2nd coat: Stir well – do not dilute.
