Unique cork patterns on Uniclic® floating floor system, a patented glueless tongue-and-groove flooring system.
Most patterns come in plank size: 12" x 36" x 7/16".
Co-op colors (Coffee, Dark Grey, Light Grey & White) come in plank size: 15" x 24" x 7/26" (with micro beveled edges).
Created in 3 layers: cork, HDF board, cork underlayment.
Cork flooring is made from the outer bark of the cork oak tree. This outer bark can be removed without causing harm to the tree. The bark regenerates and is harvested every 7-9 years. With a unique cellular structure, cork is an excellent choice for flooring.
Cork floating floor is suitable for a variety of residential applications.
The Capri floating floor can be installed over many existing floors and can be installed above, on or below grade. This product is designed to "float" and will expand and contract as a unit. For this reason it is essential that the installation instructions are followed.
Like all natural woods, cork has inherent shade variations and needs protection from UV rays. Blending of shades when installing is necessary. UV rays will fade unprotected cork.
Capri @ Home cork is prefinished with 3 coats of commercial grade finish. Re-coating of coats will eventually be necessary with timing dependent on use.
All cork patterns including hand-laid strips (lines) are random and are not intended to match or line up.
With user friendly maintenance, well maintained cork floors can last decades.
