Gabo Wood: The RAIS Gabo Wood is a new-generation stove that embodies a unique, clean and simple design that is easy to use. Designed without an ash pan and shaker grate, RAIS Gabo has a totally-sealed firebox that ensures optimal combustion control.
This stove can be enhanced with a turntable, a flexible solution that adds dynamism to any living space and allows for a clear view of the fire and its flames from anywhere in the room.
The convection grate on the RAIS Gabo provides an art deco touch and comes in matching black, gray, or stainless steel. The stove can be further accessorized with a heat-retaining soapstone top plate that provides a contrast to the stove body and continues to emanate heat long after the fire is burnt to mere embers.

Our newest wood burning stoves and inserts meet even stricter requirements for efficiency and particulate emissions than those of the Nordic Ecolabel. RAIS stoves are recognized globally for being environmentally friendly. We continue to focus on developing and optimising combustion, including collaborations with Aalborg University and the Danish Technological Institute. As a guiding force in the industry through the years, RAIS has repeatedly set new standards for the environmental requirements for modern wood-burning stoves.
With the Scandinavian eco-label, the Swan, this means that the stoves are among the least environmentally damaging products in the product line. The stoves meet high demands through the entire cycle from raw material to waste. This is controlled by the authorities who issue the Swan label. Hereby it is ensured that:
- emission of particles < 4 [g/kg] for free-standing stoves
- emission of particles < 4 [g/kg] for inserts
- emission of hydrocarbons OGC < 120 mg/m3
- Efficiency rate is at least 75 %
However, RAIS has taken it further and have efficiency rates of up to 80%.
We call them CO2 neutral because the amount of CO2 emitted when fired correctly is equal to the amount of CO2 the tree would have emitted while decomposing in the forest.
