How it Works

SWEET Schools provides learning resources and product packages to help your educational community adopt and elevate green principles. It encourages the linkage of in-class curriculum (especially science and current affairs), community affairs, PTA activities and fundraising, and campus construction and maintenance.

The program is free to join and offers:

• Learning materials: Lesson plans, curriculum materials, manipulatives, exercises, and exhibits to enhance classroom activities, for free or special reduced rates.
• Fundraising: packages that offer healthy profits to support school and community programs while syncing with your green lessons and goals. They also make great prizes and awards.
• Facility operations assistance: products at special reduced rates that save energy, save water, use sustainable materials and, importantly, link real world actions to classroom principles. More detailed advisory services are also available.
• Special programs: recycling collection drives and special events.

The program is structured so it’s easy to implement “off-the-shelf” yet flexible for each classroom’s individual needs. The program is available to teachers, administrators, and parent-teacher associations.
