The future of lighting has arrived! Light-emitting diodes (LED) have been maturing for thirty years. Gaining popularity in traffic lights, vehicles, emergency signage, night lights, and other applications, they are now becoming readily available in other building applications. And Amicus is leading the charge to revolutionize your lighting!

The advantages of LEDs include:

- Up to 80% less energy use than incandescent flood lights, 30% less than fluorescents
- Will last up to 50,000 hours (so if you have it on 8 hours a day every day, that's 17 years)
- Give off virtually no heat--a safety and comfort benefit, and it doesn't fight your A/C
- No mercury (which fluorescents, including CFLs, have--a disposal problem)
- 3 year warranty (not bad for a lightbulb)

Recessed

Cove  
  • Replaces 5 Watt Xenon lights with 1 Watt LED units
  • Designed for applications such as lighting coves, niches, under shelves, or over or under cabinets
  • Adds dimensionality and dynamically enhances your home or office
   
Step Plug N Lite  
  • Takes an ordinary electrical outlet and turns into a multipurpose louvered step and hallway light that can double as your local receptacle
  • Makes a functional hallway, bath, or area light
  • Only consumes 3-5 watts
