This communicating "three-wire" low-voltage dimmer works with many of our LED lights.

  • Modern, Decora-style switch will blend with any room's design.
  • Maximum load: 600 watts. No minimum load.
  • The "three wire" means that a neutral wire connection is required.
  • Double tap: Double tap the top to bring light to full on fast, or double tap the bottom to turn lights off fast.
  • Adjustable fade rate: You can adjust the rate at which the light turns on or off, also known as the ramp rate. For example, you may want the light in the stairwell to turn on instantly so you can see where you're walking. Conversely, you may want the light in the master bathroom to ramp up in a soft, gentle fashion so you're not blinded in the middle of the night. The ramp rate is adjustable between 0.1 seconds and 9 seconds.
  • Brightness indicator bar: you can adjust the brightness level locally by pressing and holding the paddle top or bottom. The brightness bar of 8 LEDs indicates the current brightness.
  • Night/status light:A small, subtle white LED at the bottom of the brightness bar makes it easy to find in a dark room.
  • Easy installation and set-up: wires in like a standard wall switch with an additional connection to the neutral wire.
  • Scene lighting: Scenes allow you to control multiple lights, rooms or even the whole home with a single command. Because this Dimmer can be a member of more than 400 scenes (i.e. "Movie Time," "Party," "Romance," etc.), you'll be able to launch various lighting scenarios with a single button press. All member lights can ramp to your independently desired brightness levels at your chosen ramp rate(s). So one set of lights can dim slowly, while another set turns off instantly, all controlled with one command from one button.
  • X10 compatible: fully INSTEON compatible and X10 ready. Homeowners with existing X10 networks can easily migrate to an INSTEON network without having to discard all their existing X10 devices. X10 ready means that it can respond to X10 commands from an X10 controller and it can send X10 commands to X10 devices. Please note that INSTEON devices repeat INSTEON signals but not X10.
  • Power failure features: All dimmer settings are stored in non-volatile memory and are not lost during power failures. Additionally the dimmer will return to its last brightness level upon a power restore.
