Squak Mountain Stone

Squak Mountain Stone

Item #: SQMCPO
Squak Mountain Stone is a fibrous-cement material comprised of recycled paper, recycled glass, fly-ash and cement. The material is hand-cast into "slabs" as an alternative to natural or quarried stone. It resembles soapstone or limestones and has an intentional "warm industrial" look.

Available slab sizes (1-1/2" thick): 56"x96" (37.33 sf); 28"x96" (18.67 sf). Size information provided is nominal. Variation in product size may be ± 1/8".

Maintenance: Squak is a unique material with unique characteristics. We highly recommend studying the manufacturer's installation and maintenance information (download links below). Slabs are provided from the manufacturer sealed with a water-based sealer that provides stain resistance to grease, oil, food, and other common household chemicals for approximately 24 hours. This sealer countertop wax for maximum resistance. The amount of maintenance is highly dependent upon the user's cleaning regiment and personal preferences. Download the Installation and Maintenance instructions for full details.
