This may be the most sustainable option of all. The woods from reclaimed solid wood floors come from old barns, warehouses, piers, and other structures. Avoiding virgin content is extremely green. And these reclaimed woods usually come from the Mid-Atlantic or Appalachian region, meaning the regional content reduces carbon footprint and embodied energy and supports American jobs. When shopping for reclaimed woods beware of their sources--some reclaimed woods are still sourced from China, South America and other distant locations.

Woods are solid 3/4" tongue-and-groove (T&G) in random lengths (RL). Available in various widths, including random widths (RW), 3", 4", 5", and sometimes other options. They are unfinished, and look great with one of our plant oil finishes, low-VOC water-based polyurethanes, and healthy stains.
