A solid-color stain, suitable for all interior woodwork, furniture, and wood or cork floors. It offers the functionality of paint, without the need to prime. It covers any discoloration or other defects on the wood surface but does not build to hide the wood's grain--the structure of the wood is still apparent. Features:

• Creates a satin, opaque finish with two coats. Can also be used as a semiTransparentarent stain to add color and bring out wood grain
• Microporous, so any moisture found in the wood can evaporate without causing peeling. This feature makes this a good choice for rooms with high humidity, such as kitchens and bathrooms
• Won't peel, rub or flake off
• Made mostly from readily renewable, natural ingredients
• Meets European safety standards for use on children's furniture and toys and resistance to perspiration and saliva
• Colors can be intermixed to create custom shades

Coverage: One liter covers approximately 200 square feet with one coat or 120 square feet with two coats (a 125ml can covers approximately 75 sf with one coat or 45 sf with two coats).

Application: There is no need to prime. Does not raise the grain of wood, so there's no need to sand between coats. To use as a solid-color stain: Stir well. Apply one thin coat. Brush in the direction of the wood grain. Let dry for approximately 12 hours. Apply a second coat and let it dry. To use as a Transparentarent stain: Brush on one thin coat and wipe off the finish immediately with a cloth or sponge until the surface has the intensity of color you desire. On large surfaces, work in sections. For maximum durability on floors, top with a coat of OSMO Polyx Oil.

Maintenance: Can be stored for five years or longer. Store in a dry place. Frostproof.

Ingredients: Approximately 70% solids (the part of the paint that remains on the wood after the finish dries): natural oils and waxes, iron oxide and titanium dioxide pigments, water-repellent additives and lead-free dryers. Approximately 30% solvents: aliphatic low-odor mineral spirits that meet the German standard for purity.
