The HEK Handgrip/Valve Extender Kit (HEK) is a way to get a further reach with your Chimney Balloon inflatable chimney plug draft stopper. The HEK allows you an extra 16 inches of reach and the valve handle is near the valve mouth. This is highly recommended if you have a damper that is high in the chimney or if you plan on installing your Chimney Balloon high in the chimney.

Rule of Thumb: If you can not easily touch the area you measured for your Chimney Balloon with your hand, you should buy an HEK Extender. It will make the install of the Chimney Balloon much easier.
